Community Support

For almost 50 years, LeMatic Inc. and the LeCrone family have been proud to make the Jackson area home. By sharing in the ups and downs of Jackson’s manufacturing businesses though the decades, Lematic has long-recognized the importance of community involvement.

  • Jackson Chamber of Commerce: In 2019, LeMatic president Dale LeCrone was honored to receive the award for Jackson Small Business Person of the Year.
  • JAC 3: Students join this three-year program as high school juniors and participate in a registered school-to-work apprenticeship with a Jackson-area manufacturer.
  • Jackson Manufacturing Day: Working with area school districts, LeMatic welcomes high school freshman for plant tours. This program offers students a first-hand look at modern manufacturing careers in Jackson County.
  • Toys for Tots: LeMatic employees work together to provide Christmas gifts for area children.
  • Michigan State University Engineering Expo: LeMatic takes part in this and other head-hunting opportunities to attract the best talent.
